Buckingham Choral Society gives 3 public Concerts each year, usually in the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul – where we are involved with the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols at Christmas.
	Our Summer 2008 concert will be held on Saturday 5th July, as the opening event of the Buckingham Summer Festival, when the theme will be Music fit for a King and Queen. This will include Mozart’s Coronation Mass in C, G F Handel’s Zadok the Priest and Henry Purcell’s O Sing unto the Lord. On Saturday 6th December we present our Autumn concert when the programme will be Mozart’s Requiem and John Rutter’s Mass of the Children (one of his finest and most moving works). For this concert the Society will be joined by a local school choir. The Society is most grateful to the church authorities for their cooperation in providing a beautiful venue for their concerts and to Buckingham University for the use of rehearsal facilities in the Radcliffe Centre.
